CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture." Purchasing a "share" in a CSA program guarantees members a portion of that year's harvest, while providing the farm with the capital needed for early season expenses. This model fosters a strong relationship between farmers and their surrounding communities.

By investing in Valley Ridge Farm, our CSA members directly support a local family business.  In return, they receive our strongest commitment to work tirelessly toward providing an abundant and varied selection of the most beautiful dahlia blooms of the season!  Once the buds start opening and the field is bursting with amazing color; weekly dahlia bouquets will be provided to our members as their "share" of the harvest.

For the 2022 season, we are offering 5-week dahlia CSA shares, with a choice of 10 or 20 weekly stems. With almost 2,000 plants and 200 varieties in the ground, weekly bouquets will represent a wide range of gorgeous shapes, sizes, and colors.

Dahlia shares will begin the week of August 15th.

Weekly pick-up times/locations for 2022 are set, with the following options available:

Wednesdays 4-7pm (Jefferson, MD)
---> Jefferson Maryland Farmers Market
---> 8/17, 8/24, 8/31, 9/7, 9/14

Fridays 3-6pm (Rohrersville, MD)
---> Valley Ridge Farm
---> 8/19, 8/26, 9/2, 9/9, 9/16

Saturdays 9-11am (Jefferson, MD)
---> Adrienne's Flower Delights
---> 8/20, 8/27, 9/3, 9/10, 9/17

Additional locations will be considered based on interest.

Connecting and strengthening the local community is an important value of both the CSA model and our family farm. We invite you to partner with us in gifting weekly dahlias to local organizations. A Donation Share option is offered at a reduced price in our store.
